Money Matters, Paying Your Rent & Debt Advice

Paying your rent is should be prioritised above all other household bills. It is a condition set out in your tenancy agreement that rent and/or other charges (including water rates) must be paid weekly in advance. Failure to do so will result in action being taken against you, which could ultimately result in us recovering possession of your home through the County Court.

It is rarely too late to seek help – if your account is in arrears or if you think you will be unable to pay your next rent payment, contact us immediately.

Payment options

We offer a number of different ways to help make paying your rent as easy as possible. You can pay:

  • By Direct Debit. This is the easiest way to pay your rent. We offer a choice of three payment dates to suit monthly or weekly payments. You can set a Direct Debit up online
  • Online at livin.co.uk using the Pay Now link or via our secure online portal 
  • By Standing Order, either weekly or monthly
  • By automated phone line. Our payment line is available 24 hours a day, seven days a week on 01388 814704. You will need your tenancy number and your credit or debit card details
