Getting Involved

Why get involved?

By getting involved you can:

  • Influence decisions that affect you and your neighbours
  • Give your views on the services you receive
  • Help us to understand the needs of people from different backgrounds
  • Make a difference, meet people and develop your own skills
  • Make your area a better place to live
  • We often create consultation and engagement activities for tenants to help shape our services. These are advertised in advance on our Facebook page

Find out more about some of the ways you can get involved below. To get involved or speak to someone about getting involved, just get in touch.

Scrutiny panel

The Scrutiny Group tests our performance and services against the expectations of tenants to make sure we are providing quality, value for money services and to help us identify areas for improvement. All the recommendations that the group makes are reported directly to the Board.

You would need to be able to dedicate some of your spare time and in return could help to make a huge difference to the services we offer.

Setting up or taking part in your local tenant/resident association

Tenant and resident associations are groups of people who live in the same area that get together to make a positive difference in their area. They are a great way of bringing communities together to deal with local issues and run social events. Get in touch if you and your neighbours are interested in setting up a group or for more information on existing groups in your area.
